legwork, and paperwork of making a sale and renewing the business.
During the plan year when issues and questions arise with
the benefits, RBG works closely with the broker’s office/and
or client to resolve situations when the normal service channels
have been exhausted. Brokers and their staff can concentrate

with the insurance companies to solve often time consuming
issues.
The renewal process is the other major part of what makes
RBG different. RBG assists, as the broker directs, through
the process of renewing groups from pre-renewal consultation,
renewal negotiation on mid-market groups, to obtaining and
preparing renewal options, and then the entire process of
open enrollment meetings, submission of material and following
up to be sure the group is set for another year. It’s
not surprising that RBG brokers have among the highest retention
in the group insurance business.
